Question Front Doors Hard To Open

It seems you have to pull the door open after you release the handle. It doesn"t seem right.

The front doors should pop right open when you lift the handle. I looked at several before buying mine, and they all "popped" open. Have them check the alignment with the door lock hinge. Also look around for metal shavings, scrape marks or black paint missing from the lock post and mechanism. That should tell you it's not aligned properly. Most of the door lock parts and hinges are painted black if i am not mistaken. I have been in and out of my truck so many times, and I have yet to see any of the door parts with missing black paint, scratches, etc.
The doors I am having problems with are the rear doors!!! Having a hard time keeping them OPEN. They always fall back on me when I am parked on the driveway-Dern that hurts !!

SHEGAMEN,
Check out your local dealer and pull a few doors!

Shegamen:
I have the same problem w/ my driver's door. Whowed it to the salesman, and he found the problem - the bracket on the frame which the door latches onto when closed is slightly out of alignment. he didn't think that it could be fixed, but I'll asked the garage when it goes in for its first oil change.

My driverside rear door does the samething. There are no scrapes or scratches. After you pull the latch, you have to give it a tug to open.

Question

I know this is a old issue, but did we ever get a solution for it. I am taking my GEN1 SCREW into the dealer this week for a oil change and my driver-side rear door is hard to open.

Did anyone get this problem fixed?

I'm having the opposite problem. My passenger side door want shut completely. You have to really slam it to get it to close.

I am with cavecrew on this one. I haven't noticed anything with opening the doors but the front passenger door is much harder to close than the drivers.
