My guess would be the 17" chrome five spoke wheels.

Those wheels look nice from a distance but I think it is a little cheap looking up close. The chrome is simply bolted on to a steel wheel! Heavy sucker nonetheless!

Good luck.

No those are the "stock" Lariat ones I think. The Off-Road package includes alloy. I just can't tell which ones.....

Whisk,

I'm gonna throw my guess in the ring. I'm thinkin' the original 17" tear drop wheels that came with the 97-98+ Expys and Off-road pak F-150's.......My personal favorites. The only thing I hated when trading in the Expy was letting them wheels go.

On the another note. The 10 spokes did grow on me real quick..................

The ones I saw recently on a XLT off road package were the 17 inch cast aluminum. I bet you get the same.

Ted & Bill,
I'm guessin what you're guessin...and yeah I do think on this truck I do prefer the tear drop slotted ones. All will be revealed next week.... Unless my train is burried in the snow in the mid west.

WhiskeyTango-

You should stop by and check your dealer's lot. My truck arrived late Monday night at the dealer and ours were built a day apart and traveling in the same direction. VOPC still says mine is at the ramp.

For sure you won't get the 10 spoke wheels. I think you're right about the teardrop ones.

Cool

Whiskey,

Mine is an XLT, but it has the same ORP that you ordered and you can see which wheels I have. I think they look pretty good for stock wheels. It will be interesting to see which you get with a Lariat!

Question

1 Illinois,
Thats the first Screw I have seen with the "saw blade" wheels on it. Looks good, but strange that Ford now offering those wheels instead of the 10 spoke. Let's see, they offer stock 16 inch alum(?), 17 in 10 spoke alum, 17orp alum wheels, and 17 lariat chrome steel wheels. Have I missed any? Also, do you have the "Off Road" decal on the back fender when you order ORP now? I think Ford has made it too complicated when before you just had to order the skids and wheels and you got the ORP, fwiw.

cpafay,

Yes, it does have the, "OFF ROAD 4x4" decal on the rear fender. It just doesn't show up well on the pictures I've taken so far (cheap camera and they're scanned...lol).

I'm not sure about the Lariat, but when I ordered mine (XLT), you could no longer get 17" wheels or 265 tires without ordering the off road package. When placing my order, my salesman found that you could no longer get the 17s, so he called me. I asked him to check if there was an off road package because it showed up on one of the web sites I was using for pricing info ( www.driversseat.com ). He called back and said the ORP was now available. That's what "saved" me from the smaller tires. Yes it is a bit confusing, especially since they are changing as they go along. But, have you ever tried pricing other trucks? Now that's confusing!

Whiskey,

Thanks for the compliment...lol. I guarantee if you like the color of the truck in the picture, you'll love it in person! I'll keep an eye out for when you get your lid picture(s) posted.

Finally, to p226,

The LT 265 tires "slipped by me"...lol. I wish I had caught them as an option vs. the P 265 tires. I have been in some mud, and lots of snow, and these are doing pretty good so far. Plus, they are quiet on the highway. How about the LTs?

Yes, I'm finally done rambling!
