Owner Dynamics Survey
Closer to 50 than 40, married 26 years with 2 boys. The truck is used for pleasure only, stored during the winter. Main reason for purchase was due to the increased rear seat leg room over my previous 92 Chev C2500 ext cab. Hauling a 20" US Cargo enclosed car trailer weighing 7500 lbs. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...8730&a=8921587

I'm 49 and a Lead Design Checker at a heavy duty truck plant. Married with no kids, she's enough. I'm a cave diver and bought the Supercrew mainly to haul the equipment on the trips from Va. to Fla. to dive the springs. My other vehicle is an 86 Bronco II with 2002K miles on it. We have two farms not by choice, but the wife want sell them. I don't plan on using the screw on them. Cow poop will rust anything.

I'm starting to feel like a kid again! (HAHA) I'm 22, not married, no kids, and a weenie dog. I work in the Insurance industry and needed the ability to carry large extention ladders. My dad has a S/Cab and I have watched when we travel together, he runs out of interior space really quickly. My 96 regular cab wasn't cutting it, and the S/Cab just wasn't big enough (We are usually gone for at least 30 days at a time) to carry our gear. The Screw was the almost perfect decision for me. (the bed's a little short) It's versatile for playing, and works hard when I need it. I have a 26' Offshore boat, 2 16' flatbeds to haul hay and materials, a three horse slant load trailer, and a 21' bass/ski boat, so I tend to play a little to much.
Early thirties, two kids and another on the way. I got rid of my '97 x-cab (I miss that truck sometimes
) because it wasn't practical for my growing family.
I didn't use the bed much in my old truck so losing 12" wasn't that big of deal. I sometimes haul around a 8' Bass Hunter in the back to get to my favorite secluded Bass haunts!
Great truck!

I'm 36 and an electrical engineer. Just like having a truck for home projects and needed something bigger than the Ranger SuperCab. Just added 3rd girl and ran out of room for the dog. Love the look and feel of these new trucks.
Ordered 11/6 and still waiting in the ranks of the "clean and unscheduled".

I'm 32, married with two kids (2 1/2 and 7 months) and a German shepard. I bought the truck after "convincing" my wife we needed another car to haul the growing family. I told her we could get another SUV, we have a Honda CRV, but she said buy a truck. And the search began.
I was going to buy a F250 crewcab, but thank God I searched the internet and saw the picture of the SEMA Supercrew, and my decision was made. This truck rules. I used to have a 93' Z71, which I sold a few years back, and this truck is so much better than my Z71.
I don't have any toys to tow behind the rig, but that could always change.

We were looking for a vehicle that could haul equal amounts of people and cargo to a backcounty cabin we have in southern Colorado. The place sits at 9500' feet and is 300 miles/6 hours from our home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This is *my* first truck (girlfriend rarely gets to drive it) and I couldn't be happier!!! I've passed people going up some monstrous hills while towing a mini-digit! Had to pull over in a blizzard this winter and spent the night on a feather-bed after folding the back seats down. Plugged my mini-space heather into the rear PowerPlug and called it a night! My girlfriend uses the real PowerPlug for cooking dinner in a crockpot on our way up to the cabin

30 yrs old, married, father of 2. After my 1997 Explorer was totaled when I was struck head on by a drunk driver on Aug. 29th I decided to repalce it with the SuperCrew. Room for 2 car seats, better way to carry the dog, more cargo room, bigger vehicle if I ever get hit again.
Will use it to commute 10+/- miles to work and need 4x4 to drive on the beach for surf fishing.

Here's my story:
I'm 37, married 15 years to a wonderful woman. Two kids 7 and 4.
I'm an electrical Designer at a Nuclear Plant in Upstate NY.
I had a 91 Explorer till 95 when our 2nd child was on the way. Had to trade it in for a Windstar. That's when I ended up with the wife's little Nissan Sentra. I drove that for 5 years till I got my baby in September. I had been talking about getting a truck for the last two years, but just couldn't see spending the bucks. Well, my brother-in-law started a new job at Ford this past spring, so within 2 months my order was in for my truck. I just couldn't pass up the A-Plan deal. I may have spent more than I had planned, but now I'm happier than a pig in *****. If any of you know anything about lake affect snow, you know that a 4X4 is essential in my neck of the woods. I drive about 65-70 miles a day round trip to work. The gas mileage sucks but the security of a 4X4 is well worth it. I love my truck.
That's my story!

I'm 50, married with 2 kids (13 & 10). I'm a hydroelectric operator and school volunteer living in God's country, and I walk to work. Like to hunt, fish, and ski. The F-250 regular cab got too small for the family so we went shopping for something a little larger. Found the SuperCrew and the family fell in love. The wife likes the SuperCrew because it drives like a car (as opposed to the old 250 which was very much a truck). The kids loved the rear seats and all the room. Me, I just love making the family and me happy.

36 years old, Married 11 years. One daughter(6) and one son on the way. Bought the superCrew after having the wife talk me into an SUV ("a truck is just not practical" she said) four years ago. Needed something bigger for me (I'm 6'7") as well as more powerful. The Jeep GC was just not cutting it, both in size and power (plus the Tranny was going out on it). Well, now I have my truck. Basically to haul stuff for home projects and tow an 18' bowrider boat. Was looking at the extended cab trucks for years, but then I saw the SCrew, and that was it!

25 year old college educated female, high-tech sales. Married but won't let my husband drive it yet.
Wanted a supercrew for the following reasons:
*4 doors enabling me to transport business associates to meetings, lunches, etc.
*F150 for hauling a horse trailer (I'm into competitive equestrian sports)
* 4 wheel drive for getting out of mud at the stables (already used this several times) and taking trips over the mountains (snow)
* Truck bed: covered with a bed rug and a snug top to transport two fairly large dogs. Hoping to get a mastiff in the near future and can't think of any other way to comfortably transport 300 lbs of dog. Also don't want dogs drooling where clients sit.
This truck is incredibly handy and I'm thrilled to own one. I just wish it I could see out the back with my camper shell on, because it makes getting out of parking spaces very hazardous.
