A-plan is the discount Ford gives to it's employees and retirees. It amounts to about 6-7% less than dealer invoice with no haggeling. Employees can also use this plan for immediate relatives, spouses, siblings, some in-laws, parents...etc.

X-plan is offered from Ford to employees of some of their outside suppliers, and very large fleet buyers. This is discount amounts to about 3-4% above the A-plan cost. If you qualify for any of these discounts, you call Ford, get a personal PIN number and then go to the dealer. You can either order a vehicle, or some dealers also let you use these plans for vehicles already on the lot. It can not only save you alot of money, it saves you ****ering about price.

Hey Wingnut33...if I may ask ya, whatcha pay for your SuperCrew. I'm looking at the XLT myself and 4WD also. I have the X plan and would like to know what the price is out the door. I wont have any trade.

I was thinking about getting the HOT ROD RED also!!

Thumbs up

I bought my Screw via the x-plan. It was great. No haggling. We went in, drove the truck, talked about financing and were gone in about 2 hours.

Keep in mind that you CAN negotiate your interest rate and terms. That is the only negotiating that we did. I went in with a credit union interest rate with a short term and came out with the same rate but a longer term, hence a lower payment.

If you qualify, it's a great way to buy a vehicle.
