Lightbulb 12 inch subs in real storage!

A guy at the local stereo store told me he could fit two 12" subs behind the back seats where the storage is. He is planing to remove the whole plastic storage compartment and build a special box for the speakers. Im just wondering if it's really deep enough to fit 12"'s. Has anyone tried it??? If it works it will be some incredible bass.

I have a 6 1/2" Bazooka tube and it will not fit in the storage areas. My 12 disc cd changer won't fit in there either due to the angle. I can fit a huge amp in there though. I'm sure you'd have more space if you took the plastic off.
My solution is to keep my Bazooka strapped under the seat and quickly remove it and put it under the flap that lifts up when the back seats are down. It fits perfectly there.

Today I went out and measured the depth of the storage compartment and there is no way they will fit back there! So now im stuck with two 12 inch subs and no place to put them in my supercrew. They won't fit under the rear seats. I might have to sell them on Ebay and buy some 10's
