Spot,
Here are a few covers that I looked at before I decided to go with the Lightning. The Lightning actually was cheaper than some of the aftermarket parts.

Keystone Bumper Covers http://www.keystonerestyling.com/ksfdf103.htm

Stillen (You will have to look at the Expy since the F150 is not on line.) http://www.stillen.com/gt/gtx/exterior.html#

RAZZI (Pretty cool I saw this truck in person.) http://www160.pair.com/razzi/razzi_catalog/f-150.html

Classic Design Concepts - similar to Keystone http://www.aapd.net/f-150/default.asp

Roush (Now they have a Retail Parts number 1.800.59.ROUSH maybe you can actually get a bumper cover from them now.) http://www.roushperf.com/vehicles/f150/

WingsWest - basically a Lightning Clone http://www.wingswest.com/index2.html

Good Luck,

Tim - 2001 S-Crew w/ Lightning bc. http://webtech.cherokee.k12.ga.us/test/

YOU ARE THE MAN! thank you very much.it's too bad you cant get just the bumper from Roush,it looks so good, but no way will i pay $8000 for that kit.the trucking mag is the new one,and after reading some,it is indeed a Roush body kit. what all do i need for the lightning change over? what about the lights? i dont have the factory fog lights.i would like some way to bright driving lights.
thanks again!!

the lightning as i have learned should go right on a 1999 bumper. you will need to remove lower valence and the upper plastic part. just leave the chrome part on. you will probably need 4 brackets to hook it on. not sure though.
check the apperance products. i have a few topics about it there. i installed one on my 1998 f150 and tried it on my supercrew first to see what it looked like. i think they look great on there. the lariat supercrews have that painted polyurethane piece on top so i had to remove it but im not sure if all models have that. also it fit on the expedition after taking off the fog lights, valence and painted polyurethane piece.
let me know how it goes

Spot,

I have everything done except the lights. The lights are mounted but not hooked up yet. The end plugs will not plug directly into the existing wiring harness. I am debating how to connect the lights up. I really do not want to put an aftermarket switch in that looks out of place. I have seen a remote switch that I was thinking about.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Tim
