Post New seats in supercabs - supercrew too?

I was at a dealer's lot this past Fri and noticed that several of the supercabs have front seats I have not seen before. The seats have adjustable head rests and are more of a bucket seat. They also have built in seatbelts. I figure they made the change to allow access to the back seat easier (no seatbelt in the way) but perhaps it helps with a blind spot.

From the outside they look more comfortable. Does anyone know anything about the switch. There didn't seem to be anything different on the sticker. The trucks with sticks after Oct. 15 or so seem to have them.

Will the screw's get them?

I have seen this in the 2001 brochure as a Super Duty item. Have not seen anything on the F-150s though.

I looked in a brochure I have and I see very similar seats in the superduty. The brochure says they are for supercabs and have integrated restraints to make rear access easier. It says they have late availability. They must be doing the same for F150s. Bet they won't put them on the screws.

I'm not sure how long it takes to get a truck in Canada, but my opinion is that if you're probably spending more than $30,000.00 on your truck, you should get it EXACTLY! how you want it. Waiting an extra month or two is better than regrets for years! Good Luck.

Orval,
That's fast! It seems that they've fixed whatever problem was holding up all the orders.
