Post Wax?

Just curious. How long should I wait before waxing for the first time? I received my truck on 9/25. Build week was 9/5.
Also, what is the best wax to use? I know the owners manual says to use a carnuba wax, but would like some opinions on what kind.

Thanks.

its never to early to put a good wax job on your Super Crew, Make sure you apply it in the shade, and use a good wax like, mothers, zxmoil. take your time and use caution near the bed rails and plastic bumper covers, the wax is hard to remove off the surfaces, use care around the decals as the wax builds up close to the seams,, get some wax on it anytime now,, and remember to get the good stuff,

Cool

When it come to waxes everyone has their favorite.I prefer to use a synthetic called Liquid Glass. First you should prep your truck by using a clay bar-Mothers or Meguires it doesn't really matter as they both do an excellent job of smoothing the finish. Apply the first coat of Liquid Glass, remove and let it cure for 4 hrs followed by another application. You will end up with a slick, hard finish you can't wash off no matter how hard you try, but must use chlorathane(sp)if you need to refinish a part of the vehicle. I've used this process and product on my show cars as well as daily drivers for years. I holds up better than anything else I've used. used. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...8730&a=8921587
