I just put in the expy console in my Screw. I noticed it does not fit all the way to the floor...is that what everyone else sees???

Now I am waiting for the cd changer mount!!

Mine is in a SuperCab and it does not fit flush with the floor. I asked the same thing and everyone else's was the same way.

See the shadow under the console at the front?

 

So the question is, does it look like the console belongs there?

Also, where did you get the consoles at? I want one but have heard differing stories about the condition of these consoles.

It looks good, just sits a bit shy of the floor. I am a very **** person, so this eats at me a bit. You dont see it unless you crawl down to the floor and look. I got mine from a guy in NJ. Mine was a new take out of an expy that he converted for police/fire use. Even has heat and radio controls, which you cant use, but look better than the ones from LVM that have the hole in the back,

Same here - doesnt quite reach the floor but doesnt bother me.
Kkirt - got mine from LWM - $89.00 + $20.00 shipping. Looked to me like it had been sitting in the warehouse, getting kicked around a bit - a few scuff marks and FULL of spider webs, roly-polys, and assorted other wildlife - but no tears on the top and cleaned up real nice!
The only other problem was that it shipped 7 days later than I was promised :-(
But it beats paying $600.00 to $700.00 from a dealer!!
