Angry Vibration and Roar/Drone

Anyone have vibration and Roar/Drone between
55--70. If you let up on the gas it goes away
then come back when you get back on the gas.
My Ford Dealer says it in the Exhaust and no cure for it yet.

great looking truck,,,, I get a little exhaust drone/vib at highway speeds but I thought i was being a little over critical.. when i stepped back and considered it all. I started focusing on the overall ride characteristics of my super crew and it made me feel better. my drone is very minor... by the looks of your truck I can tell you really care.. its a fine looking piece. I love the color...!

Jep, I have to agree, great looking truck, I'm also glad to see that somebody else has a 2wd. Don't know what the percentage is of 2wd vs 4wd here on the board, but most of the pictures that I have seen are 4wd.
But after 1582 miles I have not any vibration and Roar/Drone that you are mentioning.

1,000 miles on board and I have not experienced any roar or drone under any driving condition. Might want to have that checked and keep us posted.

Nice truck! I noticed you have pics of everything but the kitchen sink and the wood trim dash.

Is this the Ford kit or other aftermarket? What about fit and finish?

A couple of years ago I had that problem with an explorer, it turned out to be the stone sheild under the muffler if I remember properly. I don't hear anything in mine, but I have been told that I play the radio loud. That is when I hear them Holler.

Great Looking Truck!! I like the lights over the running boards.

Well, I have the vibration and roar/drone out of my truck. Went to my Ford dealer this morning and ask them if I could pull off the
counter balance are every what it is attached to the exhaust pipe thay say try it.
Took it off and that done it. Maybe it didn't need it with the F-150 Harley Davidson exhaust system on. I'll try to get some pictures of the inside before I leave for Ca. Thur. morning.

Sweet truck!!! I was looking at changing the front bumper on my supercrew to the much more attractive gold like yours but was told it wasn't possible. Also what type of running boards do you have?
