Unhappy Change 1 - Bremerhaven instead of Amsterdam

Well the saga continues. I spend the last two days trying to figure out the Dutch system on what I have to do to drive my truck from the port. No way, no how, cannot do it!! The Dutch do not recognize the US temp tags and I would have to park the truck in front of our house until we get Dutch license plates. However, if we get the truck delivered to Bremerhaven, we can use the temp tags, drive for 30 days till the Dutch license is done and we have no problems at all. So I called the agent got the port change and since the vessel has not been loaded it does not cost anything extra. Thank God that I checked into it, if I would have called one day later the vessel would have been loaded and the port change would have cost many, many, many dollars. So the word to the wise, don't thrust anybody's word, get the facts and stay alert.

Cool

a buck$$ says we will have to take a collection to bail Dutchy out of jail , when he hijacks his Super Crew from the Dutch Port of Call.
