Post SuperCrew Tires

I've recentlt ordered a new XLT model SuperCrew and since ordering have seen some XLT on dealer lots with various wheel/tire combinations such as:

16" 5 spoke brushed aluminum wheels
16" polished aluminum wheels
17" polished aluminum wheels
16" 10 spoke aluminum wheels
17" 10 spooke aluminum wheels

I may have the sizes wrong but have definately seen the three different types. I really like the chrome wheel types that come on the Lariets but after seeing these other combinations at dealer lots (they were not listed as extras on the factory stickers) was wondering which ones I should expect to receive. I thought the 16" 5 spoke brushed aluminum were standard and thats what I'm expecting but like any of the others much better.

Has anyone else recieved different wheel/tire combinations than what they expected?

The wheel you get depends on whether you have an XLT or Lariat, and whether you have 2 or 4 wheel drive. On 4x2's the 16" polished aluminum is the standard XLT wheel, the 5 spoke brushed aluminum is a no-cost option, and the 5 spoke chrome wheel is on Lariats only, and they're 17". On 4x4's, XLT's will get either the standard 16" polished aluminum, or the 5 spoke brushed, or you can up-grade to the 17" 10 spoke wheel. The Lariat will have the same wheel as in the 4x2 model, but the tires will be AT's or something like that. All of the wheels look good, so just enjoy your ride when you get it.
