Cool "SnugLid" Bed Cover Finally!

Three + months is a long wait, but I finally got the bedcover. It looks first rate, good fit and finish, paint matches perfectly, operates smoothly. And for some reason the truck seems to ride better-maybe the extra weight in the back. Now to find out if the gas mileage improves. (But it'll take a long time to recover the cost.) I'll post some pictures if it ever stops raining here.

Thumbs up

Supercrew,
Stoked that you finally got one! I've been waiting for these to come out myself. May I ask how much you paid? Well I already did, It's up to if you want to answer. Also, you said it operates smoothly, how do/does the lock(s) work?
Nice trailer by the way, compliments the S-Crew well! I've been looking those myself, though a little smaller, for dirt bikes, harleys and whatever else. What do you primarily use yours for?

Thanks

Supercrew...congrats...glad to see you finally got it....Still think snuglid has the nicest one out...I'm a bit disappointed with the edelbrocks...maybe just expecting too much out of shocks to tame Jamaican Roads *grin*....have to try the Rancho 9000's for my own curiosity...The crew is still awesome nevertheless *grin*

Cool

CASUPERCREW,
Paid $875 installed with carpet headliner and the removeable clamp-on mounting system. It seals well and operates smoothly, considering there's no handle to raise it. I like the smooth flush look. If I needed to get in the bed daily, I would have gone with the ARE with the integrated handle and lock.
I tow a 427 Cobra to shows & track events, and my son uses the trailer for his lawn service in the summer.

Exclamation

Dear SuperCrew,

Saw in your signature you may get some Lightning wheels. Well, if they're not spoken for, I'll gladly buy those rims you have now. I'm in Richmond, VA. Not too far from Great Falls. I'm purchasing a new SCrew soon. Let me know if you are interested.

I liked the snugtop, but those locks on the top are what worried me, rain comes from up, snow comes from up. what happens in the winter when they freeze up? I went with the astro because the lock wasnt facing up.

Question

One50npump - Could you post a picture of your bed cover in the "up" position? I'm assuming it hinges from the front and was just wondering how well you can access items on the floor in the front section of the bed.
Thanks...
