Question DJer in AZ, Tax credit/grants & propane tank Questions

DJer,

I read your response to Dutchy, so I went to the AZ revenue website. Are you going to use the tax credit forms: 313 & 327? Are there any other forms? I couldn't find anything about grants to reimburse costs, but the benefits you listed could be credited towards your tax liability over a 3 year period, (I was also looking at 99' forms, because the 2,000's don't seem to be listed yet.)
I couldn't find anything about not paying sales tax. Does this require a form through the DMV or does the dealership take care of it?
Which dealership is installing it?

Tank questions: how big is the tank? If it was under the truck, does it hang really low, and would some type lift kit take care of the lost ground clearance?
I want to go offroad and sleep in the bed.
Any info. would be appreciated (it would save me a ton of taxes!)
Thank you

The information is located at http://www.azcommerce.com/energy2/altfuels.htm . This program was new as of July 1, 2000. To get the grant money and the tax incentives, you have to apply for the grant through AZ Commerce Dept. and fill out several forms and jump through several hoops. I filled out the pre-Application back in July and will fill out the real application when I pick up the truck. )The conversion has to be done before the truck is picked up.)

In my previous email, I mentioned that I was going to put the propane tank in the bed, but I just saw an Screw that had the tank underneath, and it didn't look too bad. The tank was about flush with the hitch receiver. My truck will be coverted at Pioneer Ford and I plan on stopping by there and looking at some of the conversions before I make the decision. I believe that the uder-the-bed tank is 19 gallons.
