I'm wondering if my new SCrew (coming soon I hope) will fit in my garage. Edmunds had the height at 74.5" (i think). I'm not sure if this is for the 4x2 or the 4x4. My garage has a clearance of about 83 - 84". Can someone please give me their 4x4 measurement please?

Oh...by the way...those people who wrote that bad review (see previous post) on the SCrew should lay off the drugs. However, I'm glad to know I ordered a super macho truck with those macho chairs. I'll be the "macho-est" blonde woman in town.

The 4x4 Screw fits through my [standard size] garage opening with several inches at the top to spare (32" tires and all). I did replace the factory 31" antenna with a 17" antenna ($4 at walmart). Works great.

I also fold in my drivers side mirror just to give me a few more inches at the sides (I have the dual single doors).

I had a house built for me last year. Had the garage built extra long. Best money I ever spent. Along with the Screw, Ive got a Explorer, motorcycle, workbench, avail workspace, craftsman roll chest, laundry tub, mower + press washer + air comp + welder, and tons of shelving. I love my garage!

Well I did have a problem with my Screws height. I park in a building garage where I work that has a clearance of 6'5 at the height checker 77 inches (thing that hangs down when you pull in). My Screw hit it (it is moveable so no damage). If the height checker is accurate then the Screw 4x4 is about 78 to 78.5 inches tall at the rear portion of the roof (it started rubbing about midway on the roof). So now if I pull into a garage I like to make sure it has a clearance of at least 6'8 or 80 inches. Your garage at 83 or 84 inches will be fine even for a 4X4.

Just measured mine (screw) and it is about 79 inches. This is a xlt with 16" tires. Hope this helps and enjoy your truck.

I have a standard sized garage. Before I ordered my S-Crew I drove one home from a dealer and parked it in the garage to see if it would fit. It did (barely).

I recieved my truck last week. I have the 4X4 with 17 inch tires and wheels. The truck fits. I have to place it against the garage wall and the garage door clears by less than two inches. If I had a trailer hitch I would have to remove it to make the fit. I put some thick foam on the garage wall for protection. The antennae is a little long and snaps back from stiking the overhead door when pulling in. I am going to replace it with a shorter antennae.

I love my TRUCK

Thanks for the responses. I think it's going to fit. I'll just make sure that my husband watches me pull it in the first time. It sure would be nice to keep in clean and shiny in the garage.

F150aGoGo. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who did that to thier new truck. I'm glad that my first scratches are minor and on the roof where no one can see them.

A friend of mine got a new F350 SuperCab (4 Full size doors) and scraped his roof. He took it back to the dealer and they fixed it for free. He made up some BS that it came that way.

Maybe you can try that route??
