Thanx for the quick reply, checked out your site, NICE. I'll be in Jersey to drop my truck of around early October, maybe you might be able to assist (driving directions, hotels, advice). Please let me know.

You can convert your MP3 files to WAV files then burn your WAV files onto the CD-R. I use Winamp(shareware)for the conversion and Adaptec CD Creator to burn the audio CD's - works great !!!

VMF214,
Thanx, I'll try that (btw I though all software was shareware :-)
I just asked this question since I get bored and wanted to use rewriteable instead of write once cd's.

Question Does the cd player play cd-rw

Does the cd player (6 disc) play rewrite cd's? I know that some cd players do and some don't, and before I start creating cd's I thought I'd better ask the experts (you guys that are lucky enough to have one of these.

Cool

Only 1 or 2 aftermarket players will play CD-RW. All will play CD-R with audio recordings. If you want to play MP3's you need to convert them to an audio format before they will play on a normal audio CD player.

Question

Does Anyone knows if is possible to convert a Home CD player for read CD-RW ??

I think that it needs a conversion like PlayStation (Uses a Microchip' PIC Microcontroller for play CDgame copy)

Does Anyone knows where is the difference between CDr TOC and CDrw TOC??? Maybe connecting a PIC that fake the TOC should be able to play CDrw.

When you burn a CD to play in your vehicle, set the speed to it's lowest setting. I have had CD-Rs that would not play at all and copied them with the speed setting low and the copy would play when the original would not. I don't know why it works, it just does.
