CB Radio mounting
After mounting the brake contoller, I find there is little open space along the lower dash edge to mount a CB radio. I don't really want to mount the radio/bracket to the face of the dash as this would look like c--p. Looking for suggestions or alternative mounts.

oldkoot,
Where did you mount the brake controller?
Did you mount it in the same spot as Skyjet did with his at: http://www.over.to/SuperCrew/ ?
I don't want to drill/cut my new SCrew but Skyjet's location looks like it might be hard to reach in a panic stop.
Skyjet...how difficult is it too reach the controller??

Yes I mounted it in the exact same location. Generally after you set the brake control up you really don't have to touch them. As you see from the pictures there really is little room to mount anything to the lower dash edge.

oldkoot,
Are you using mirror extensions? I didn't need them with my '92 Club Wagon Van but the SCrew is a little narrower and I think I may need extensions, either slip on or those McKesh clamp on the door mirrors. I tried the McKesh a few years back but they seemed to bite intoo the rubber seal on the top of the door and it seemed like it would ruin the window seal after awhile. Nice mirror otherwise. I bought them for probably $125 and ended up selling them at a tag sale for $25 or $30. Now I may end up buying them again.
