Post Ford Nerf Bar?

I am trying to figure out if Ford has a Nerf bar like they put on Expeditions and all other F150 models that will fit on Supercrew. It's the black one, with 3-4 supports and flat step running from front to back. Thinking the Expy model may fit, but dealer parts dept not alot of help. Anyone know?

Cool

Yes, but no. There has been a problem I have heard about on this site and have seen at my job. They order the boards, and no hardware comes with them. I think the problem is that they are coming as replacement parts and not as a kit. They order the boards separately, right and left. They need to order them together in a kit. I don't know if this has been figured out yet, haven't bothered to find out.

EvilleSuperCrew--

Parts Dept. at Town And Country Ford where I bought my 'Crew in Nashville said they could order the running boards. Would have to come out of Atlanta; take about a week for delivery and cost $500.

I opted instead for the Aero-Tec Premier "One-Piece" at the same price because I think they're a bit dressier and more functional in that they run wheel-to-wheel and have a step to get up into the bed from the side. They're sent unpainted to the dealer (in my case, Camper Corral) who sprays on four coats of factory-matched color and four coats of clear-coat.

We'll see how they do...here's the url for Aero-Tec: http://www.aerotecinc.com/rbpoptr.htm

Red face

Has anyone successfully ordered a factory set of running boards from a Ford dealer parts department? I got quoted an ungodly price (more than double aftermarked DTA ultra-boards)for the left and right assemblies. I have to beleive that the parts guy made a mistake.
Does anyone have a set of factory boards to sell? I have been debating what boards to get so my pregnant wife and 3 year old will have an easier time of getting into my truck, but am still not sure. I had finally decided to stay with the stock boards, but for about $1,000.00 quoted, I will keep looking.
Based on the post above, maybe I got double quoted on the price? Any help appreciated.

I ended up with the DTA UltraBoards. Love them. Bought direct from DTA for I think about $400.
