Question Online Owners Manual

Can someone please give me the URL where I can download a copy of the Online Owners manual. Am waiting for my Screw to be built and would love to get a look at the manual early.
Thanks...

I have had trouble linking to the PDF page, but if you start here you can navigate to it. You may have to register a UID and password to get to it...The SuperCrew PDF is 1.8mb, which I saved. If someone wants to post/host it, I'll be happy to e-mail it to them (I love DSL).

Unhappy

dtrosch,
thanks for the info. The web site said that you have to have Adobe 4.0 and that runs $249. I downloaded a PDF file that is 1.48 MB that said it was the users manual. I have Adobe 3.0 but don't want to spend the cash just to look at the owners manual. Did you find the same thing?

dirvin:

Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 is free. The full program that you buy lets you mark up and annotate PDF documents and create PDF web documents.

Go here to download Adobe 4.0 http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Dirvin,
I saw your message while at work, and didn't reply becaue I couldn't remember my password! FedExPilot and BlueFlareSide are correct--you can download the reader for free. It's a good utility to have, *.pdf files are becomming more common on the web for all kinds of documents.
Out of curiosity, let us know when you can get the manual up. If you get stuck, let me know & I will try to walk you through it.

Blueflareside, FedExPilot, DTrosch,
Thanks for the help. I mis-read the Adobe site yesterday. I downloaded the Owners manual but haven't been able to read it. i am downloading 4.0 now. I had Adobe but just an older version. Thanks again.

FedExPilot:

I love my Extang Classic Platinum cover! I have had it almost a year and it is holding up great. It was easy to install and it is very easy to remove. I bought the one with the snaps because I was told by my local truck accessory place that the snapless one (like the one from Ford) was not working very well in the brutal Florida heat. I was told that the cover tended to come off in spots at higher speeds.

The snaps also have two settings (for hot and cold weather) so you can tighten or loosen the cover.

My truck sits out in the sun at work and home and there is no sign of fading. I just wash it with soap and water with the truck and that's it. It also keeps the bed bone dry in even the worst rain storm.

BTW, I added a quick how-to on my site for installing a center console from an Expedition. I have one question, though. Did you have to modify your back bolts at all for your console to fit in or where they short enough already? I have a SuperCab and mine were really long so I had to cut them with a saber saw.

Thanks,
Steve

Thumbs up

BlueFlareside:
Thanks for the info on the cover.
I didn't have to cut/ shorten the bolts on the Super Crew. I did need to adjust the adapter brackets a couple of times to allign the holes with the bolts, but no cutting. If I had been smart, I would have documented the changeout with photos ... ah well .
