VOPC closed on weekends?

VOPC closed on weekends?
It's Sunday at 10:30 A.M.
I called the VOPC line and pressed 1 to
enter the automated status line and the information said that the service is closed and too call back M-F 9-5 EST or similar hours.
I called the other night at about 9:30 PM EST and was able to get through.
Anyone else have similar problems?
