DWB 4x4 pics
You guys wanted a couple pics of my new deep wedgewood blue 4x4 lariat supercrew, so here they are. I don't have a polarizer filter for my little digicam, so you can't really make out just how hideous the rose stripes and gold 4x4 emblem are. The 2nd pic you will notice the decals are all suspiciously absent.
Didn't know if inline images are legal here, so just follow the two links... http://www.ipass.net/~jca/pics/01sc14-2.jpg http://www.ipass.net/~jca/pics/01sc14-7.jpg

jC...
That is a sweet looking truck!!! I thought that it'd look better without the silly stripes and 4X4 sticker and your pictures sure prove that! If I wasn't stuck at work today I'd go and order mine!
Did you remove them from the truck or just edit the photo? If you did remove them, how hard was it to do?
Does your camera store pictures in a higher resolution than those .jpg files were? I tried to set that picture (without stickers, of course!) as the desktop on my work computer (21") and it is real grainy when stretched out that big (although it'll probably be OK on the little monitor at home).
Thanks for the pics! Let me know if you take any more...because I'd love to see them!

Yes, I actually removed the decals... it took about 5 minutes with a hairdrier. Just warm up the decal for a few seconds, then just peel them off. Any glue left over can either be waxed off with Meg's cleaner wax or wiped off with WD40 on a rag.
I like the color a whole helluva lot better now with the stripes gone. The truck as a whole looks a lot more masculine I guess.
Yes, those are small pics... I just uploaded 2MB worth of car pics and didn't have room for big truck pics. I'll get a nice monster 1024 wallpaper shot next time the truck is clean.

You've helped push me over the edge: my wife and daughter aren't so keen on messing around with factory graphics, but I just knew it'd look better. Now I'm sure, so off they come this week!
Thanks for the neat pics!
