Exclamation Use caution when installing Aero-Tec Premier One-Piece running boards

Went to have my new Aero-Tec Premier One-Piece running boards installed this morning (a month after ordering them!). The dealer came and got me in the waiting room, saying "We're going to have to cut the fender flares to make them fit right!"

Sorry, but no one's cutting on my truck just yet. The factory should have molded the running boards correctly in the first place. Bottom line: dealer refunded my deposit and promised to call the factory and complain.

Before I'd gotten back to the office, dealer called me on my cellphone and said the factory recognized the problem and was re-tooling to correct it. New ones should be here in two weeks and another two weeks to paint and clearcoat. I hate to wait, but they sure looked good when we held them up next to the truck and they're just what I want otherwise, so we'll see how the next set looks.
