Truck arrived in Portland! One more week to go!
Hey, all-
The broker called me today- My truck is waiting for me in Portland, Oregon!!!
On Friday May 19, I'll be flying up to get it and take it for a one-week spin, prior to shipping it home. From now till then, it's gonna have the Warn winch/brush guard installed, my dog/tool box installed and the bed Line-Xd. As for me, I'll be counting the days (minutes and seconds too).

Setter Man,
Can I inquire which broker you're dealing with in the Portland area and how much you paid? Is it a local Ford dealership?
After some unsuccessful attempts to locate a SuperCrew with exactly what we wanted in 5 western states, we finally decided to place an order. We ordered our SuperCrew two weeks ago from a local dealer here in Portland and are paying $500 over invoice.
Just curious...

robnbuf,
I ordered my vehicle via All About Autos in Newberg. Spec'd out exactly as I wanted it, the truck is costing me about $531 over invoice, based on MSN Carpoint invoice figures. On top of that, they undercoat it, and are giving me by far the best price I could find on a Warn brush/grille guard, 9000# winch, and rear-winch platform (yes, I like to put 2 winches on my trucks). They'll also install my custom dog/tool box and make all shipping arrangements to Hawaii.
Docker,
I don't plan to take the new truck hunting yet. We'll just use my friend's old truck, although we won't have room (back seats/rear doors) to pick up any babes who wanna hear stories about Hawaii...
By the way, I'll be in Honolulu tomorrow and Saturday for work and play. Got a meeting @ the Hemmeter bldg (old YMCA across the Capitol) tomorrow, then I'll be practicing Kendo (Japanese fencing) @ a couple of schools/clubs there. Perhaps I'll see your SuperCrew around town!

setterman,
pretend for a moment your truck is a woman.
for months you've been tempted to ask her out. you've mustered up the courage and once committed, not only does she accept, but you make all the preparations to ensure the night is a success.
you walk up to her door, she opens it, instantly your heart races as you are overwhelmed by her beauty. she's a touchy type of person. from the time you pick her up, throughout dinner, and on the dance floor she's touching you, rubbing your back, winking, and that smile has got you to third base before you've had the oppurtunity to put the moves on her. being a man, your testosterone races and sets your mind on a one way journey. the nights coming to an end, you drive her home, and she asks you to walk her to the door. she opens it, turns in the doorway and melts you with a sensuous smile and an inviting glance into the confines of her domain. as you step forward she quickly tells you she has to catch a boat in the morning, thanks for a great time and shuts the door in your face.
i'm glad i'm not in your shoes. that's going to suck having to turn the keys back over after a week with the crew. we love you man

USAF K9,
Sure thing, dude. By the way, I liked your prior post! Because I'll get to drive it for a week, though I'd re-write your example to state that:
After a night of the best, wildest sex with this goddess, she says she wants to be with you forever, BUT that she leaves today for a one-month trip to Bangladesh...

I'll post something after I get back.

You'll have to get to the Big Island if you want to see my Supercrew drive by.
Thinking of the one month in Bangladesh - how many grubby sailors does she have to fight off before she gets to you? Better get a big bubble bath ready for the two of you.
