Because of the smaller bed on my Supercrew, I plan to make up some of the loss space by installing an Yakima rack system on the roof of my camper shell. (still on order)
My options are to either install a side mount bar system or have a track system/with bars installed on the roof. Does anyone have any experience with either types?

I too was looking for a rack and have considered buying one for an Expy and trimming it to fit. That way it would have a somewhat factory look to it. Let me know if you come up with anything.
