Question reardoor windows

I (a non-owner) am under the impression that the rear door windows do not roll down all the way. Am I right? I would hope that passengers would be able to at least rest an elbow on the door sil. How do you owners fell about this?

The windows roll down to about 2 to 3 inches above the sill. (Way more than half way. Plus there is enough room on the edge to to rest an elbow (window up or down).
Only problem is the door lock ***** stick up about 1/2 and inch and can be bothersome. The front seat ***** go all the way into the door sill, the rear do not.
