To line or not to line...
...that is the question.
OK, so we all know the bed of the Supercrew is made of a high-tech plastic composite and is supposedly resistent to dents, scratches and other undesireable blemishes. Who believes a bedliner is unnecessary with the Supercrew? Who is getting a bedliner anyway just to be sure?

My bed was painted body sheet metal. Now it is Rhino lined. I'll save the discussion re: drop-in vs. spray on for the rest. You know how I feel.

I think you're confusing the bed of a Sport-trac with the SuperCrew. The SuperCrew has a steel bed(bottom and sides), and composite outside fenders.

USAF K9,
Try the Line-X dealer in Citrus Heights. If I remember correctly, his name is Jessie.
At least 3 F150 Online members have had him spray their trucks. I am real happy with the work he did for me.

Echo...composite outside, steel inside.
Never been a fan of inserted bedliners after seeing my brothers older ford (bed) rusted out cause of the moisture, leaves, etc. that accumulated between the bed and bed liner. To be fair however, he didn't have an under the rail liner and that was in the days when they just came out.
For me, even though more expensive, the spray on is definately the way to go. I would like to know...which brand seems to be most favorable? Rhino...Line-X...?

In SanDiego, Linex regular price is $330 but they have a promo at Bob Baker Ford (Go into showroom and take a coupon, they are sitting in the accessories display) for $299 ($322.17 Out the Door).
For no reason other than personal preference (the way the shops looked and the feel of what these two particular guys were able to achieve with their personal skill at spraying; and the name recognition for resale here in San Diego) I went with Rhino at $339 out the door ($314.62). I am completely happy.
I reccommend (between Rhino/LineX) that you go check out what your rep's shops look like and feel a bed they just sprayed. I wanted a 'soft' and not abrasive finish. I have seen some Rhino coats come out like -20 grit abrasives. My shop knew my fears and I learned that the texture is highly dependent on the skill of the applier and the settings/cleanliness of the sprayer. The companies send their franchisee through training and try to maintain consistency. But in the end it is the people that matter. I was confident that I could return to my guy with a gripe and he would take care of it. The LineX guy was very cordial and if you prefer the feel of LineX, I'd recommend him too. It all depends on what you want the truck to look like and how comfortable you feel.
The price of that Herculiner means you could do-it yourself and have $$ leftover to buy a Superchip! I wasn't willing to put in the hours, particularly if I have a problem; I know my next job will not allow me time to make any nick/cut repairs myself.
Hope that helps,
Joe

I had a Rhino liner sprayed yesterday for $375. Looks great! I let them talk me into spraying it gray to match the plastic rails around the top of the bed and it looks like this is the way it should have come from the factory. Very satisfied with Rhino.
I am not worthy to draw breath any longer!! OK, so I got a little confused (compounded by bad info from dealer). It's been a rough pregnancy. I will have a Line-X bed liner installed ASAP assuming I ever deliver. Since I have ordered the Amazon Green/Silver Frost combo, I'm thinking a grey liner would look very sharp with that color scheme and the grey bed rails.
Any further word on availability of shells for the Supercrew?
