Could you solve a mystery for us. Ask your friend what determines when you get the rear cup holders on the back of the seats and when you get the fold down armrest cupholders in the rear seat. Thanks!

RE: the back seats and cupholders... there have been several posts regarding this. My wife and I have been to several dealers... and early on, it did look like it was luck of the draw or a line worker flipping a coin. I saw XLT's with and without the fold down arm rest in the back with the cupholders. Lately though, it seems that most xlt's are with out this feature... and they are down in the kick zone.

 

From what I've seen and read,If you have captains chairs,cloth or leather you get the fold down cupholders built into rearseat.60/40 seats up front get cupholders in bottom rear of front seat.My dealer here has a ton of s-crews on the lot and I've seen them all.

Did those XLT's have power seats, and were they leather or cloth? My salesman is driving a 40/60 Lariat with power seats, leather, and his cupholders are in back.

They were cloth seats, but didnt notice if they were power or not.

 

hey! i finally got some useful info off the VOPC line. as of 3-28 my truck now has a build date of 4-24,I now know at least when my truck will hatch from the plant can't wait. ordered 01 4x4 xlt 5.4 capt. seats with power,auto lamp,6 disc,moonroof,skids,tow pkg.,17"s which i have seen in person,and like very much, white with harvest gold lowers. paid 29,554.00
