Thanks for the advice

This will be my last post to this forum. I have bought a new truck - not a Ford. I got a 2009 GMC Sierra SLT 2500HD Crew Cab 4x4 standard box with the Duramax Diesel. There are a number of items on this truck not available on the Super Duties. eg. rear electric window defroster. I wanted to thank this forum for the answers to questions over the past 9 years, I had the 2001Ford Supercrew Gen III. It has been a good truck to me but in the last year it had started to nickle and dime me to death. Blown spark plugs on both sides $700 plus. Replaced entire front end $3600, new tires $800. And we are going to be moving up from a tent trailer to a 5th wheel and the Supercrew can't pull that type of weight safely.

Thanks for all the advice, allowing me to rant a few times and for the good times on this board. Best of luck to everyone with your trucks.

Good luck with your new truck. No reason you can't check in from time to time!

The Duramax is a good choice. Good luck with the truck.
