alright turns up i gotta tow a trailer to pick up my old mustang from a place about 4 hours away, not to sure how well or if i should even tow this with my truck..trailer is 18 feet long aprox but could be longer (not enclosed) weighs about 1000pounds its made for towing around bob cats and whatnot from a buddies work and then ill have a complete car on there, i know it wouldnt be a problem if it was flat on the way to where im going but there are quite a bit of big hills and with the 35's on my truck its a bit of a slug, my truck has a 4.6 in it so that isnt helping at all, ive never pulled anything more then 2 quads on a small trailer more then 2 times with it so i dont know what to expect....should i attemp this or go buy a big drop hitch and take my uncles 08 f350 diesel?

'01 XLT 4X4, 120K: I pull my OLD 19' camper, about 5500 lbs. I use the EAZLIFT load torsion bars. Does ok bone stock w/ a brake controller. We "boondock" camp up in the mountains west of Colorado Springs. I ****** the torsion bars when we get offroad, and typically drop into 4L. About to start drop the axle gearing and a little under the hood stuff. Just the basics. Programmer, cold air, etc. Works for me!
