tires new? i need 35s....cheapest i found out here for bfg all terrains were 1750 for all four tires (35'' for a 20'' wheel)...tires are pricey here in BC i was thinking about goin across the boarder(into seattle) and picken some up but i gotta pay duty and wutnot so im not sure if it would end up being cheaper

Dnasty: I know man I cant wait any longer. I have been saving forever. Ill have plenty of before and after for sure. And probably some pictures of putting it all together. I just have to wait for all the college stuff to clear up in the next month or so then I can get to the whole wheels and tires thing. But the lift I should be getting installed either this or next weekend. Depends on whether or not I have the time to install it.

no_pistons7: Yea brand new. I originally wanted to go with the nitto mud grapplers but the place I was going to get the lift and rims from quoted me 295 a tire. Im basically getting the hook up with the toyo's but im getting them from somewhere else.

01f1502wd: Good to hear man! Can't wait for some pics, rarely ever see leveld 2wd 'round here.

b2therad: I feel yah on the college stuff, I just got done with my first year. You're going to be really happy when you get the lift on. The first time you get in is intense.

no_pistons7: Did you decide on a lift yet?

I hope so! Im hoping that its enough to last me awhile because I think it will only be a matter of time before I wanting to go bigger. But I kinda hope not because this stuff is expensive. Im getting ready to spend pretty close to 4500 dollars on this truck. Thats alot. But its so worth it

dnasty: Geez. Im thinking 7.5 is goin to be huge compared to what im use to. One of my friends has a 2002 chevy 1500 with 10 inches of lift and that thing is enormous. He has broken the door handle trying to jump up into it actually. I dont know if I could do that to my poor 4.6. And on top of that I dont want to have to regear the dang thang! haha But I have a feeling im goin to. Thank God for student loans.

no_pistons7: Ya man, I agree lets see the pics because it sounds nice. I am jealous that you and dnasty both have lifted supercrews though. IMO the extended cab doesnt look as nice lifted as the screw.

I did regear to 4.56 Ford racing, kinda wished I would have gone 4.88

Are you running 37s or 38s with the 4.56?

And how do you get in that monster? Climb the tires?

That has to be bad at highway speed. I have always heard to stay away from 4:56 or 4:88 if you like highway driving. But I wouldnt think thats your daily driver either.

That is a sharp looking truck. 4wheel parts told me that I should run 4.88s I thought that it was a little big. Also dnasty777 or gator crew does your front tires stick out more than your back tiers.
