Pic request

Okay this is going to be a bit out of the norm here but thats what we do at times.

I would love to see pictures of you guys with your car seat setups in your trucks, also even the booster seat things. I have included a couple of shots of my current SCAB which makes me sick on my stomach to notice just how small my truck is. I have though about trading but I bought new so I owe alot on it still and im SOL. I just want to see how much better it is.

That really sucks ^^, my passenger is all the way up on the dash and im 6ft so theres no way he can be on my side. Thanks guys in advance!

Center rear has always worked best for anything reverse facing for any of my vehicles. Outboard is fine once forward facing. Currently, my Screw is not my DD, so no car seats in it.

I understand we too have an Endevor which we use most the time. But I hate leaving the F150 parked so much. Plus when my son gets old enough to realize we have a Ford in the driveway im sure he will pitch a fit not to ride in it . I do usually put the thing in the middle but we are thinking of having 1 more kid before he gets too old and that will force them to either side.

I dunno I tell you tho what I do not like about the middle is the securing, now I understand that the belt should work fine. But IMO it does not tighten and secure as good as those bars in the seat on the sides. You know what im talking about?? My car seat has heavy duty anchors that hitch to some metal bars in the back seat. They just didn't put any in the middle, and I have to use the belt.

Our trucks are wide, so you can easily get almost any seats in the center and outboard, or even three across.

The lower anchors make it a lot easier to get a tight install, but I haven't had a problem securing an infant carrier base with a lap only center in my truck. Does your have the shoulder belt in the middle?

Yes it has the shoulder belt in the middle which I don't like for securing it pulls the entire thing upwards when tightened. I could not what so ever put threw carriers in my SCAB.

I need a screw .

Scab and Screw are nearly the same width. Its the length that is a problem with the Scab. Actually, the Scab has about an inch more of rear seat width. I don't have the 2004-08 numbers, but I bet it is similar to the 09. 65" is a lot! I'm going to be trying to get 3 seats (1 carrier, 2 convertibles, maybe 1 conv/1booster) in 51" in another of my vehicles.

I would like to see some pics too, our grandson's seat is horrible, the base is massive and I am looking for suggestions for a good comfortable seat for a 2 yeear old which is also safe.

2002 Screw pics.

For a 2yo, a Sunshine Kids Radian 65 would be an excellent seat to last many years. I'd also consider the Britax Regent which is what I have for my 3yo.

Here is a picture of the back of my screw. I have 2 kids both face forward though. You can see one seat in the background and the padding in the foreground to protect my leather.

If you need a better picture I will take one later. I pulled the seats out to wash the covers on them and they are drying right now.

Car seats

Hi, I bought the screw knowing how quickly my kids legs would grow. I hate when they kick the back of your seat. But even by age 4 my son can still do this no problem. I bought the Recaro booster seats. and love them. I didnt buy the high end ones with the speakers in them. the intermediate seat is very nice . It has an aluminum frame. looks great. and is rated as being very safe. Although it doesnt come with the ancholing straps . I used ones from my previous set up. Check them out they were only like $80. online. Money well spent. If I ever figure out how to do pictures Ill put some up.

This was a good reason for trading my Scab!

It's a 02 Supercrew.
