Well guys I'm putting my screw to work. I've got a new job and have to carry a ladder about 14.5 ft long and some gear. I don't like the idea off drilling a bunch of holes in my bed to put on a ladder rack, and I still want to use my truck on the weekends to haul my ATV. I'm thinking about getting a used campershell(clamped on) and mounting the rack to it and protect/hide my tools.

My options are the "weekender" style ladder rack that holds the ladder off to one side and removes with some bolts, the camper/rack idea, a full rack, or possibly have my buddy build one that looks cool. Kind of like a safari rack from the bed to the front of the cab. What do you guys think?
