installing a new grille

greetings, being an imbicill i failed to adjust the foot pedal switch to back off the pedal as it was up too high and when putting on the break, half my foot was off the break and so the story went....well it's not as bad as it could have been but as i was coming to a stop i slid and bearly bumbed the deck so i busted my grill and the hood is bearly visable with it's pushed in look which is hard to see. I happed to see the exact same truck as mine parked outside the service dept and both of the hoods looked pretty close under my untrained eye. Anyway, some shop wanted 1100 dollars. no way and so i took it to ford's shop and was told to just be careful when after taking the old grille off to then put the new grill up to the hood and getting a look at how much i might need to bend that underneath lip outward so that the grille fits properly by geting a rag, and a pair of visegrips, then bending as needed.

319.00 at the ford dealer here in town. the wreaking yards don't have any and i know about going by the last 6 on the vin number or is it 8? i guess i'll try looking online at parts, but if anyone knows of places where the parts would cost me less, but then i have shipping. thanks.

You could get a saleen grille for 250 shipped or a roush one, or whatever on ebay. Are you just looking for OEM?

These guys seems to have a good listing of grilles. Don't know anything about them though.
