i love the look of them, but i think it would look better without the ford emblem. i dont have one, but i was thinking of purchasing the grille for my 07 screw (if the emblem is removable) can anyone tell me if it is or not?

 

The emblem mounting plate is molded into the middle of the grill. It also requires a slightly smaller emblem than what comes on an H-bar grill.

Do a search on eBay or here and you'll see what they look like unpainted.

The Roush chrome over plastic grille comes without an emblem, people have been buying them and painting them to match. Also on ebay, I think for around $90 if I'm not mistaken.

 

yeah ive thought about. but idk bc the bolt over i have on now is starting to chip. so im not sure about painting it

 

The bars in the FX2 grille don't go underneath the emblem, they're cut out in the middle.

See how they stop, really close up you can see it. Not so well in this pic but you can see the edges curl back down right next to the emblem.

 

i may pick one up anyway. its 100x better than what i have now
