I havent been on this site in a while so do any members have the crew cab in white sand since mine got totaled im looking for a new one and cant decide if this would look good in a 4x4 thanks for any and all help

 

I just got a 2008 White Sand 4.2 Lariat SCrew a couple of weeks ago and love it. I get compliments about the color all the time. Check out my photo gallery for some other pics. as well.

Yes, it's a 4x4, but probably not quite what you have in mind :o

 

Not really sure what color mine is....but it's some type of white, i guess.

 

None of these shown are White Sand. They are all Bright White. White Sand was only offered on the Limited and Lariat prior to 2009. Now in 2009, it's offered on Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum.

 

Haha...I think I know what color my truck is. It is a white sand Lariat. Maybe you are not seeing it in the pictures, but it is white sand. The Limited (Maxum) and the other truck (Tgaylord) in this thread are also white sand. There is only one that is oxford (repieces).

 

I think mine is a limited...at least that's what it says on the side

Well, I can't take credit for it. I found it on the net somewhere and agree that it is a great pic!

 

I can see the white sand in the pictures. It's a white that look like a pearl, not as clean as bright white, but very shiny. It looks a lot like the Acura pearl white.

repieces is bright white though. If not the color, the FX4 gives it away.

 

Ahhh.....so I'm guessing the FX4's only had the option of "oxford white" and not the "white sand".....interesting.

 

Incorrect sir, all of the trucks shown here are in white sand. Also, Ford has never offer a "bright white" (atleast not in the 04-08 trucks) only an oxford white. I'd also like to say that white sand is a bad a$$ color and to keep the pics coming

 

That's my understanding, but only because every 'white sand' I saw was a lariat. I didn't think you could two-tone white sand??? That would make 07screw an oxford white pueblo gold two-tone.

I also think the 4x4 in 'white sand' had matching door handles, but the 4x2 had black handles.

Good catch. Now, what is an 'oxford?'
