My new truck

Hello all, I just recently picked up an 08 4.6 Supercrew 4x4. This is quite an improvement over my 94 2.3 2wd Ranger with 33's and 4.56. I love that I'm getting better MPG with a much larger engine and truck. I have a few plans for it, I think I'm just going to do the level kit and either 33's or 35's. Here are some pics.

It only has 14k on it and I got it for 20k, and the blue book was 25k. Not too bad I thought.

Nice truck and you will love all the extra room of having the full-size Screw over the Ranger. You will easily fit 33's with a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit and you can fit 35's depending on what wheels you decide on and a 2.5" leveling kit.

I would personally go with the 2" Leveling Kit and 33's as you will not need to raise the rear with an AAL to prevent the front from being higher (the 2007+ trucks sit slightly higher in the front than the 2004-2006's) and you have the 4.6L which will help prevent you from wanting to swap out the gears later on.

That's a rude question.

Nice looking truck you got there.

I hate hearing how much folks are paying for their trucks these days, makes me feel like I got ripped off when I bought mine in 2006.

It was the same for those of us who were driving an 01 back in 03. If you want an 09 you'll have to pay closer to sticker with no rebates, but if your willing to wait until 2011 you'll get it for less.

I think in a social setting it is rude ask people what the paid for this and for that, but on the internet consumers talking and educating each other so we can do our homework before talking to the dealer.
