Keypad resetting

2006, f150, 4.6l, supercab. Bought the truck used, came with two keys and remotes but no code to use the keypad. How can I use the keypad?

The key code is in one of a few places inside the trucks. (brng to local dealer and they can find for u)

Behind the back passenger seat (drivers side), fuse box, or under the hood somewhere not sure where. One of you experts plz time in

Just take it to the dealer and they'll give you the original code for your vin. They won't charge you... Depends on the year but many of them are inside the glove box.

Check inside the cloth covered folder that holds your owners manual. I found a card inside from Ford that had my code on it. If not it can be found on the PCM which is on the driver side behind the back seat. You'll have to take the seat out to get to it. Dealer can also tell you by running the VIN.

You can add a code, but the factory code will always remain. Check it out in the manual.

i ahd that problem and just asked a service advisor if they could look it up for me and they wanted to charge me some rediculous amount. i told them i would just find it myself and walked away. if you take off the part of the back seat along the cab of the truck (which is kind of a PITA) there is a little black box that has the code on it. then the manual can tell you how to reset the code and make your own
