Why the FX2 if you planned on lifting. They are good looking trucks either way though. NICE BUY

4x2's cost less, get better MPG's, are cheaper to insure and have fewer parts to tear up than a 4x4. If I knew then what I know now, I would have purchased a 4x2.

You have just stated the reasons I have never owned a 4X4. If I lived in snow and ice country, it would be different. Just don't need it in Texas.

yea but when you start lifting it.....there goes the gas mileage and theres your extra parts to tear up. Im not one of those guys thats against lifting 2WD trucks. I just thought it was ironic to lift a FX2. I thought it was marketed for the sport scene crowd

I almost went the same route like him, but decided to put a GF 2in shackle kit & new tire on my factory 20in wheels 305/50/20.

Exactly why I didn't get a 4x4.... Like the look of lifted trucks rather than lowered trucks and I love the fx model. From the interior to the custom bumpers. You can see the truck in my album. I'll post more pics once the lift and everything is done.
