Hauling weight
Every F-150 payload is around 1600 pounds. That includes options from the base model truck of your vehicle config, fuel, driver, passengers, cargo, etc. Your truck probably weighs about 5200 pounds and your GVWR is 6750, so you have about 1500# to play with.
While I do not recommend doing it frequently, I have personally gone over a scale with over 8200 pounds hauling a yard of wet sand, then added another 200 pound passenger for the ride home.

My 2006 can carry 1222 Lbs. (1000 Lbs, after I sit down in it)

I accidentally put 2,000 lbs of gravel in the back the other day.
Didn't even sit bull-dogged. Just level. Never hit the bump-stops on the way home. I did get that chit out of there as soon as I could though.
