SuperCrew and Kayak

I'm close to buying a fishing Kayak. Wilderness Tarpon 100 or 120. Anyone have one and how do you rack it?

My SC has a Leer 700 tonneau, so I guess I'd need a roof type rack.

Thule is teamed with Leer so you should be able to get a Thule system that will bolt right on. I just got my Leer XL installed this week and ordered it with the Thule system on it, I am quite happy with it so far (all 5 days).

Well it appears they don't offer the Thule system on the tonneau covers It would seem to be something that would work just the same as the cap and would be handy for bicycles, kyacks, etc... No matter I'm sure you could get the same track system used on the caps and mount it to the 700 series you have and then just attach the risers and crossbars as needed. With your rear windo it would seem easy to run the bow in a bit so it's not hanging off the back too much. I guess the easy option would be to drop the tailgate and slide it in then bungie/strap in in. I guess it really depends just how long the kayak is.
