Yes, captains chairs and the flow thru console w/"floor shifter" go hand in hand.
It won't be another 5-6 weeks. I ordered mine approx. 3 weeks ago. It's already built and awaiting shipping, should have it in T minus 10 days. It's these last few days that are more agonizing than the weeks worth...

1) Just for clarification for those readers who see this and think it's the same on all trim levels... the flow-thru console only comes standard with the capatin's chairs option on the Lariat. The capatin's chairs on the XLT have a console, but it is separated from the dash.
2) 5-6 weeks could be realistic if the OP's dealer didn't put in the right priority order code. Mine with Priority 1 was orderd and released in one day and sent out to be built. From that time, it usually takes four weeks to see it at the dealer. If the OP's "short bus" salesman put his truck on the slow bus, too, he'll see it based upon the priority code to be pulled.

Priority 10 if I recall correctly is like 8 weeks. Sorry. Hopefully someone can clarify this, but priority 1, not order type, pulls the order within a week and builds it to hip within 4 weeks or less. That is what I've been told. On a good note, Ford is low, and many orders my dealer has ordered standard priority are showing up in less than five weeks. Good luck.

I posted my VIN and waiting to hear. From what I have read, I cant get a window sticker until it goes to Blend Date and I am sure it is too soon. Only been a week and a couple of days.

If you go to the Blue Oval Forums, look up the member PowerStrokeHD. He's been kind enough to provide me with mint updates and was even nice enough to provide me with a # to call which links me to CSX so I may track my truck while it's on the train!!!

Thanks for the tip Turbo77. Truck was ordered on 4/18 and PowerStrokHD sent me a private message saying that it was going to be built the week of 5/25. D@MN!!! I knew it would take a while but I am getting impaitent! Guess I have no choice.

As of last Thurs., mine had been off loaded and was only a measly 82mi. away. Should be at the dealer in 2 days and I take delivery Fri. These past few days of waiting are absolutely killing me! Got stuff sitting in the garage waiting to go on already!
