Question How to take it apart question

Last night I was trying to remove the map light assembly from the headliner in my '06 screw. I have a sun roof, so I don't have the information center, just a little unit with two map lights and the switch that operates the sun roof. I was trying to pop this unit out of the headliner so I could tap in to the switched power going to the sun roof. I want to hard wire a backup camera display that I have mounted on the corner of my rear view mirror. I realize I was probably being over cautious, trying not to break anything, but I couldn't get the unit to pop out. Is there any hidden catch, or do I just need to pry on it with a flat tool (putty knife, etc.) till it pops loose? Any "been there, done that" info would be greatly appreciated. TIA

you should just pull straight down on it, it should have 4 clips that hold it in to the roof.

Actually, it turned out to be only two metal friction catches. Thanks for the help. I was just being cautious.
