I was at the scrap yard yesterday dropping off some stuff and when I was leaving the truck weighed in at 6,260 lbs. That was with me (200 lbs.), my 2 1/2 year old son (33 lbs.) and 1/4 tank of gas. No extra weight in the bed or anything.

My FX4 tops the scales at 6900 pounds at the local dump. That's me at 220 pounds, full tank of gas, add another 50-60 pounds for the tonneau, another 200 pounds for tools in the bed, and maybe another 75 pounds for the sub-box and amp.

My bud's F-250 weighs in at 7600 pounds empty. That's a big bitch!

Of course, I still had a kid with a 2007 Tundra telling me he was going to pull my FX4 all over the parking lot at work. Well, that is until he parked next to my truck on Monday. My stock FX4 dwarfed his 4X2 Tundra. He didn't realize the Ford weighs almost as much as his max towing capacity. His Tundra is about half our towing capacity. He's quiet now.
