Won't start sometimes, especially when hot. It turns over fast but won't fire. I changed fuel filter and it was full of dirty gas. It still would not start every time. Runs great once it starts. I changed the fuel pump relay, and it didn't help. I drove it over 200 miles yesterday and it did it twice. Could I have lots of trash in the tank? Does the fuel pump have a "Sock" filter in the tank which is stopping up? Any ideas??

 

do you by any chance have a alternative fuel system in your truck?

 

I do not have an alternative fuel option.

 

I have the same problem, after a few times of trying it fires right up. I think it might have to do with the COPS or some kind of ignition problem. Need to look into it some more.
