Pretty good.

That is a pretty good deal, With all the Mods already on it. I picked my 04
FX4 up late 2006 for 21,9. it was supposed to be 26,9 but the dealer made a mistake on auto trader. I don't know if i could pass up that deal you have either.

20" Diamo wheels, 33" nitto terra grapplers, daystar leveling kit, billet grill, flowmaster, alarm/remote start, fully loaded, console shifter, black leather, fx4, tow package, 5% tint, oil changed every 3k miles with mobile 1, Always garaged, All scheduled maintenance, No accidents, Non-smoker, Well maintained, 60k miles.

I'd say somebody has life and bullchips confused. That's grossly overpriced. Apparently you didn't go by Kelly Blue Book. Here's the linky:
http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/Pric...uizConditions=

The truck new in 2004 was around $28,000. I turned one down for that back then. The tires and wheels are a freeby as they don't allow squat for those on trade. The exhaust and other "upgrades" are actually a minus. Not very many folks want all the noise that the exhaust brings. Folks looking for used are looking for fuel mileage, not a customed performance truck. If they had a bunch of money to throw at transportation, they'd be buying new. The seller is fishing a very small bucket. Offer him $15,000 and if he is smart, you will have yourself a decent deal. Remember, auto sales are in the toilet. YOU are in the drivers seat so beat the best deal you can on your purchase. And bring your own financing or cash. They can get low on the price but screw you to the wall on interest rates or points. And if they say they won't sell it to you unless they finance- walk away. They'll be calling you back in a few days.

ok kbb said that suggested retail is 21,750 in excellent condition and the add ons are anything but a minus. I wont have to spend my money to put them on. Any mod is a plus unless your trading it in to a dealership. And i dont think we are a dealership so where your getting this mods=minus crap. And i dont think hes trying to appeal to the "older" people who dont like loud trucks. if that was the case then maybe he would have changed it. Obviously you know nothing about trucks if you think 15 grand is what its worth. re-work your numbers

Wow that's overpriced! Suggested Retail price in excellent condition by a dealer is $20k. This is not a dealer. Nothing is "Excellent" to a dealer, yet everything is excellent to a seller. If you took this truck to a dealer (or seller already has), he'd be offered $14k. Private party is $16.5k, and that's where you should end up. I agree, offer $15k, walk @ $17k. While the mods may be worth something to you, the average buyer they are not. Use that to your advantage and don't let it show that you actualy like the mods. Seller is hoping the "right buyer" such as yourself is niave enough to pay for his mods while the market typically is not willing to.

Personally, I'd stay away from 2004 models anyway.

While you may think

Why so defensive, did you already buy it or something? These guys are telling you that you can save a bunch of money. Like the otherguys have said mods usually don't add much value to these trucks. I've dumped over 6,000 into my truck and i know that it won't mean much of anything if i try to sell it. That's why i plan to keep it for a long time. Why do you think the dealership doen't care about mods? It's because the know from experience that most people don't care for modded trucks or are unwilling to pay for the added mods. When we mod our trucks we are personalizing them to our personal taste, not everyone is going to like our style.
