I buy a new truck every 1-2 years. If you're a smart negotiator when you buy a truck, you can normally get several thousand more for it on trade-in than you paid for it a year earlier. It's gotten to the point I have so much equity on my trade-ins, new trucks don't cost me squat. I'm about to retire, so the 2007 may be the last new truck I buy for quite some time. Those 2009's do look tempting though! As far as mod's go, I usually buy a higher end model in the first place so there's no need to do much to it to suit my needs. Usually knock out the bed liner, tonneau and sound system in the first month of ownership.

If I read this right, you are saying that you trade trucks in for more than you paid for them after one to two years of use.

I need more info...care to share?

Congradulation with the new Screw, it's beautiful.
Shortly after getting my new '07 Screw, I got rid of the chrome clad wheels and soon had these 20's.

Why in Heaven's name did Ford switch to a 6 lug hub? I'd love to put a set of 18's or 20's on mine. I love the look of my 17's but the tires I want only come in 18 or 20 inch sizes.

Hey STX, I really like what you've done with your '07 SCrew! Very nice! I like your '65 F100 even better! Trucks like that don't survive up here in Michigan. Along the same lines, I'd be afraid to have 20" wheels up here on these BUMPY roads! They look GREAT on a Oklahoma truck though!

I've got a gray jump seat that I would trade for your center console. I would even cover your shipping. I never use it and could use the extra deep center console. Let me know what you think. PM or email if you want.

I think I read your post wrong and you already have a jump seat. LOL If you don't and want to trade let me know.
