18.6 is nice but 21.3 is better. https://www.f150online.com/forums/im...milies/eek.gif

Hey, I've not even had this baby a month now! Give me a little time. The first thing I want to do is get better sound from the stereo. Then after that I'll start investigating programmers.

I got 18.6mpg once when I turned the truck off and coasted down hill.

Don't worry Kaboom your not the only one who sees these high mileage threads and wonders how or why.

Before anyone starts, the truck drivetrain is 100% stock. 2007 F150 Screw, 5.4, tow package, 4x4. And I do know how to drive gingerly. But realistically, if I wanted great mileage I would have bought a rice burner for the mpg and forgo towing.

The only thing I can say this tank was different is I had the overdrive turned off all the time. Hmm time for those 4.56ers? Those 3.55's suck. I've got basically the same tow package you do but with all the water on either side of the road I seem to get wheel spin with one wet tire and it's supposed to have posi.

I've still got the factory height. It looks like I'm always going downhill. Maybe that's the secret?

I got my 16.5mpg at 75-80 bone stock. It seems mine likes higher rpm's for gas mileage. I've been staying between 1500-2500rpm around town and went up 1 mpg(auto overdrive locked out).

I drive mostly in the city and a little on the hwy. I avg around 11mpg. The worst was my last tank, where I got 9.2 mpg. The temp avg around -10 celsius and we got alot of snow. I used 4x4 quite abit. The best milage was on a hwy trip last month. It was pretty cold out (-15 celsius), I drove on cruise @ 100 kph and got 18.5 mpg.

I get about 10-12MPG. I can't keep my foot out of it
I like hearing the engine roar

Oh, and sometimes I play this game, first one to the speed limit wins haha.
And every on ramp is a 0-60 test.
I should try being easy on it and see what I get. Bad habits...

A man after my own heart. I have this foot condition where the right one turns to a heavy when I get in my truck.

Just filled my truck. The average was 14.516 mpg. The average is about the best I have gotten over the last year. It was about 90% highway driving at 60mph with the cruise on.

This is good news for my Monday morning.
