Let the dealer take them off and remove ALL traces of them ever being there. I'd knock the FX4 stickers off as well, just my opinion!

Well, I guess I am the minority. I come from the era back in the late 80's-early 90's when Auto Trim Design was doing tons of trucks in our area. I had one done and after that, I striped all my trucks myself with custom cut graphics until early 2000. None of this premanufactured junk. I always got positive comments of people wondering where they could get theirs done. I did a lot of custom work then. It was al individual pieces applied over the next. A full afternoon of work for one truck. It was a statement of individuality, and I like having a truck no one else had. I guess it's no different than some of you with these 22" and 24" wheels which aren't my bag.

I thought I'd re-enter the stripe era with my 2007 F-150 last year for fun, and it netted the same results as I used to get, even though I applied a "canned" stripe. I liked it and many who approached me did too. I guess nobody who disliked it ever said anything. But, from the sounds of the resonses above, stripes are still out. Here's what I had done:

I also replaced my Sport Tac with an F150 and have never looked back I say remove the stripe, reminds me of what a matchbox truck would look like.
