Think I found my truck..Thoughts?

I've been shopping for a 2007 XLT V8 Screw, and found almost exactly what I'm looking for today. It's Dark Shadow Grey, has power adj. pedals, deluxe heated mirror package with signal indicators, tow package, reverse sensing system, 40/20/40 bench (preferred by me), 3.73 gear ratio (preferred by me), keyless entry, premium 6-cd with sirius, fog lamps, power drivers seat, skid plates, and chrome nerf rails.

Best of all, I'm trading in my 2007 V6 Toyota 4runner because my wife and I need a tow vehicle for a future travel trailer purchase. I'm 40 years old and have purchased several new cars in my lifetime, and I have to say that this experience today was top notch. They offered my $28K for my 4runner, which was exactly what KBB said it should be worth. How many times does that happen? The salesman then tossed me the keys to the F150 and said to take for a drive by myself, no pressure. Again, how many times does that happen? He told me to go home, talk about it with my wife, and call him later today and let him know if I want it and he'll hold it until Monday. Unreal.

Price before TTL is $28,450 with an MSRP of $36,090. This is without even trying to get him to come down. I'm in outside sales and know how to play the game myself. I'm going to forfeit the $3500 rebate and opt for the 0%/60mo financing, bringing the total price before TTL to $31,950. That's a bit higher than I wanted to pay, but the savings on finance charges is greater than the rebate, so it's a no brainer.

Thoughts???

first off, is that 4x4? i bought my 07 dark shadow grey screw in august what a hard color to find! anyway my truck stickered for 34,410 and i paid 30,410 with the xplan and 1.9% for 72 months (you can always pay more) i doubt there gonna budge much if any on there price especially with a trade in, but i could be wrong. my truck has some of them options, but not all of them. it seems a fair price. nothing spectacular but a fair price.

That's pretty much how I feel as well. I'm older now, and I'm willing to pay a little more when the dealership leaves the B.S. at the door and treats me straight up. Yea, it's a 4x4. I've researched many different dealerships and they're all right in this ball park. The trade-in for my 2007 4runner was pretty damn good actually, and I would have a hard time selling it for much more than $29K. My company kicks in $500/mo for my car and .25c/mile, so even if I'm getting only an average deal, I'll be ahead of the game in 6 months. The 0% financing is really sweet. It's nice knowing that your entire truck payment is going to the principle of your loan.

I agree, the Dark Shadow Grey is a rare color. At first, I didn't know if I liked it or not, but it grew on me quickly. Looks good with chrome accents.
