Seatbelt Chime

The seatbelt thing is starting o get on my nerves so much. Ive just gotten to the point where I live it buckled and sit on top of it. I read the manual and tried what it said 3 times and still it doesnt stop going off. ANyone have any idea whats wrong?

In the 97-03 models, you just had to push the unlatch button once per ignition cycle to not have the chime. Does that still apply to the 94+ models? Or, you could follow the law.

i did mine the 1st and it didnt take, then the 2nd time was the charm. if you cant get it, i'd just swing buy where you bought it from, takes like 2 minutes to do. just make sure you read the directions exactly otherwise it wont work.

on my 2001 there a wire harnis on the floor by the seatbelt if you have it just unplug it and your fixed

No I didnt, but I dont think thats the problem anyways. But I never thought about that so thanks.

Mine hasn't done it at all since I bought mine .. the light on the dash loses its mind but no chiming thank god.

I tried that today on my 02 and it work when I was waiting for my son in the school parking lot.

Like someone else said- On my '03 I just wait till the chime starts then push the unlatch button and it's done.
